Rafiq Hossain

Rafiq Hossain works in bronze and terracotta, drawing on Chittagong's coastal clay traditions to build figures that sit between the ancestral and the unfinished. His practice began in his family's pottery workshop and has grown into large-scale public commissions across southeastern Bangladesh. He is currently developing a body of work about migration and the hill tracts.
